Today I felt alive because I can deadlift!  I started some light lifting but it was an amazing feeling to be back in a training routine that included iron.

I started following a version of the 5/3/1 program which includes deadlifts, good mornings and leg raises to increase my strength again.  It is an altered version because I have no idea of my maxes post op.  I also threw in extra accessory work for fun. Things are picking up from here on out!
